Hello abode lovers, thank you all for the "get well wishes" I am still a bit under the weather, but feeling inspired none the less! About a week ago I was searching around Etsy for a tapestry to hang on the wall in my abode and ran across a few gorgeous otomi tapestries. So, now, I'm noticing the pattern EVERYWHERE and am loving it big time. What do you think?

Here is Grace Bonney's DIY headboard from Design*Sponge

and this is a photo of Grace and myself at her book signing in Birmingham :)

and this is a photo of the headboard from Cookie Magazine in 2005 that inspired Grace to build her own otomi headboard

I love this dresser painted in otomi fashion by Lena Corwin

It's quite a statement here is kelly green and white-

Read more about this otomi mural here, I LOVE this soft tone-on-tone look! It's so whimsical and super sweet, especially for a nursery or kids room.

I am really dying for a monochromatic or one color otomi like this... it's so soothing and warm while still being exciting because of the pattern. LOVE this look from Crystal's home on Plush Palate.

Otomi as art... I would love to do this in my abode. What a great way to display otomi art! Here again is a quiet version of the typically super colorful print... LOVE this look.

The otomi textile is perfect for a bedspread. I really love the mix of blues and teals in this space. The mix of patterns is lively and interesting, but the blue hues tie it all together.

Another otomi bed... LOVE this burnt orange spread.

Otomi pattern on a lovely little louis chair... LOVE this unexpected combination.

Wow. I mean, look at that gorgeous winged beauty....

So, are you ready to drink the otomi kool-aid? I am. If you're looking for a cheaper otomi option, check out Spoonflower- Here are a few swatches of the prints that you can get on any fabric you'd like! Gotta love Spoonflower...

Hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday!
