Hello abode lovers and Happy Wednesday! Anyone SUPER PUMPED that Glee is back??? I watched it while eating an entire pint of Ben&Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream. I had a bad case of the "Terrible Tuesdays" yesterday and was so ready to erase the memory of my day with an old fashioned sugar coma. Thank you Ben, thank you Jerry for making my day so much better.

So, today, I want to share a wedding invitation suite that I've been working on in honor of April being wedding month. Katie is a dear childhood friend from my days of living in California. We used to swim in blow up pools together and play dress-up like nobody's business. Katie is an Abode Love reader and contacted me not long ago about designing her invitations and I was so excited to be a part of this lovely girl's big day!

Katie and her fiancee David-- aren't they cute?!? Katie actually layer out the save the dates, but I pitched in and designed the Katie and David graphic surrounded with leaves. I really love how it fits so perfectly in the negative space of this photo.

I gave Katie 3 design options to choose from-- once we decided the direction, I designed the other pieces that would accompany the invitation. Here is the First Option: It's a simple, custom pattern that can be carried throughout all of the wedding pieces. I'm LOVING the fonts of this invite, I think it's a lovely combination!

Second Option: This invite is a little less formal and much more modern in layout. I used a vintage tapestry image on the back of this invite to mix it up a bit and add a little more color and texture to this invite.

Third Option: This is the one! Katie decided that this was the look she wanted for her big day and I couldn't be happier! The vintage, wood cut feel of the images is perfect for her rustic, chic Colorado wedding.
