Hello abode lovers! Happy Thursday- this week has flown by and I am barely hanging on. Does anyone else feel exhausted? Maybe it's the freaking southern sun that is beating me down, who knows!?! I have officially decided that I want fall to get here. I am a <i>wee bit</i> tired of being so hot. I am looking forward to pumpkins, riding boots, sweaters and football. When I was contacted about this great opportunity I knew immediately who I wanted to come over to shoot my abode-- <a href="http://blog.ericchapmanphoto.com/">Eric Chapman</a>. I repainted ALL of those cabinets myself-- whew, what a freaking project that was. Anyhow, here they are... the long awaited Restoration Hardware upholstered items have arrived! I went to the grocery store last week and picked up a can of scotch guard, knowing that somewhere in the future, I would have a pretty little creamy, white chair sitting in my living room- but was expecting mid-February as my arrival time... so, I think that by purchasing the Scotch Guard, I <i>willed</i> my chairs to arrive... you know, <i>"If you build it, they will come,"</i> right? It's Tuesday Trunk-Day.... that's right! I am expecting a trunk at my abode this afternoon and cannot WAIT to see it! <i>"Where is it going?"</i> you ask.... I'm. Not. Telling. <i>"Where did you buy it?"</i> Again, also not telling... It will be SO much more fun this way!<br /><br />I ordered a trunk 12 days ago, and to my surprise, it's arriving today! My estimate on getting this piece was 3 months... I cannot believe that it's happening so quickly!
