feature friday: more cowhide!

today I want to talk about cowhides & zebra skin rugs-- I love this trend. I believe thoroughly that the BEST way to make your space feel rich and warm is to bring in many different textures and finishes. Mixing gold, silver and copper metallics- mixing patterns in pillows, throws and rugs- layering items in the best way to make a room feel lived in, and rich! So, if you have a textured plain rug, pull a cowhide rug on top to give the space an organic shape-- it will create depth, warmth, richness, and most importantly, style.

Loving how the rugs are layered in this space... it creates such a layered and lush feel- I think the organic edges coming off the natural rug really soften the lines in this space.
