dog art

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hello abode lovers and happy Friday! I hope this back to work week has been okay for everyone... I still feel like I'm floundering a bit, but by Monday next week I'm hoping to make a full recovery! Being away from work for so long is wonderful, but getting back in the swing of things can be ROUGH! Anyone else feeling that way this week? Like, a little <i>zombie-ish?</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><i><br /></i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Anyway, today, I want to discuss dog art. That's right. Dog art. I guess being a dog lover makes me partial to this subject, but I just adore dog artwork. It's pretty visible in my abode that I'm a lover of the canine species.... Here is the dog art in my abode:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The gallery wall in my hallway contains a beautiful photo of <i>King</i>, our yellow lab, and <i>Lady</i>, our cocker spaniel. This photo was taken the day of Mister Husband and my engagement shoot a few years ago. The super small canvas painting was painted by ME a few years ago. I knew I wanted something super tiny for this little space in my gallery wall and that quirky little pup was just the thing!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOls1zv8VTmk9cWsB2Q-SnkxFhoCUNb554J_7np1Vz9DK5_cVHs77Zt_4wVbPXQxUmLdpNxcRjOhMWb_MadGSWusRiSWsco2iksp2JJycBuRRbp24pE4IkyfmXHeez6PPz7emwlCiynS0/s1600/abode+love+horizontal+stripes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOls1zv8VTmk9cWsB2Q-SnkxFhoCUNb554J_7np1Vz9DK5_cVHs77Zt_4wVbPXQxUmLdpNxcRjOhMWb_MadGSWusRiSWsco2iksp2JJycBuRRbp24pE4IkyfmXHeez6PPz7emwlCiynS0/s640/abode+love+horizontal+stripes.jpg" width="426" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This little <i>Lady</i> planter is so precious to me! I now have succulents planted in her back, but it's one of my favorite pieces in my entire abode. I snagged it from Etsy for around $10. SCORE! She sits on top of an agate stone that I found at TJMaxx.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb2hGfqqR-Aeu2FO-rA3ssohjbXyyqWbjpTxO3oD27uvjND2Zc9eewQM-u4HtPWyIzH4a1yhnuw1s_wQ4ld09VLisjY2kS08u0n4iYtbYftyi7pJjrCZUpVLsAzDau5XtG1xT_xRHKOgQ/s1600/abode+love+living+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb2hGfqqR-Aeu2FO-rA3ssohjbXyyqWbjpTxO3oD27uvjND2Zc9eewQM-u4HtPWyIzH4a1yhnuw1s_wQ4ld09VLisjY2kS08u0n4iYtbYftyi7pJjrCZUpVLsAzDau5XtG1xT_xRHKOgQ/s640/abode+love+living+5.jpg" width="426" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">This little<i> Lady</i> is also super cute. I love the gold touches on this sweet girl! I know, I know.... you're wondering where the labs are... well, I just haven't been as lucky in finding<i> King</i> dog decor! This little ceramic dog was another lucky Etsy find on the cheap!</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcUz_QJA71m1e2GQ6M3loxQPw7y4lLFn0-jtKE5OLdgymfYq0OtvPMdCTIJDaPC1cJX3ZPEgmndC_rUjKlh0j1MgbT9jxVsdSfB7JxVULBmmbfHB5XDDHMR5cay5TrB8MUUG8ss6YVono/s1600/abodelove_ceramic+dog3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcUz_QJA71m1e2GQ6M3loxQPw7y4lLFn0-jtKE5OLdgymfYq0OtvPMdCTIJDaPC1cJX3ZPEgmndC_rUjKlh0j1MgbT9jxVsdSfB7JxVULBmmbfHB5XDDHMR5cay5TrB8MUUG8ss6YVono/s640/abodelove_ceramic+dog3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">And here is the latest dog art for the abode: thank you Ebay for this vintage 1907 cocker spaniel print. I LOVE it! And for $14, I feel like I hit the jackpot with this little number. I need to get it framed asap!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSMwriYneoKBNPflvXo9ZPNXKhG4mQizqF3RtUizgTJbeIjeagxiFnuKtmGZWod1B_nUA-buj201KMW4CmJTum_wxlc7DIb-R2U9Gckf6DgY-Ffemlms7eu9GYyUxSKmU5FHXy9UmkrEg/s1600/276338127105319260_2KDZVPxv_c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSMwriYneoKBNPflvXo9ZPNXKhG4mQizqF3RtUizgTJbeIjeagxiFnuKtmGZWod1B_nUA-buj201KMW4CmJTum_wxlc7DIb-R2U9Gckf6DgY-Ffemlms7eu9GYyUxSKmU5FHXy9UmkrEg/s1600/276338127105319260_2KDZVPxv_c.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">here it is in my possession...</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC1Qw4skZJ68VuFbLdFo9UBWtqtc04uNESSqUhfBWfcF7d8c8abO3cqwZ6rDMb3W0qRwXpyOqFLt7XU7Yli0J2GF-QEnz4coPw-VIVn6ElcmdIw7v5Eyx3u7f7n9fvHgRjK-g_u-x9FEs/s1600/photo-3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC1Qw4skZJ68VuFbLdFo9UBWtqtc04uNESSqUhfBWfcF7d8c8abO3cqwZ6rDMb3W0qRwXpyOqFLt7XU7Yli0J2GF-QEnz4coPw-VIVn6ElcmdIw7v5Eyx3u7f7n9fvHgRjK-g_u-x9FEs/s640/photo-3.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Here are a few beautiful spaces that contain the most amazing pup art! speaking of bamboo...

Hello abode lovers! LOOK WHAT I GOT! Hooray for BAMBOO ROMAN SHADES in the abode! Did anyone fall in love with them the other day <a href="http://abodelove.blogspot.com/2012/01/its-new-year-already.html">when I blogged about them?</a> I am so excited... I am hoping to hang these beauties this weekend. it's a new year, already!

Hello abode lovers! Long time no see, hu!?! I know, I know... I left ya hanging there for quite a while over the holidays. I took a much needed break from everything that would require me sitting in front of the computer, even emails. <i>SORRY</i> to everyone that has had questions for me, I literally just needed to get as far away from technology as possible for a week or so! And now I feel completely refreshed and ready to face the blog world... and 2012. Here's hoping it's not the end... those blasted Mayans have me a bit worried... can you tell I've been watching too much tv?<br /><br />Anyhow, back to the good stuff, inspiring images of yummy abodes.... Lately, I have been paying a lot of attention to bamboo shades. Yep. That's right. We have white blinds all over our abode <i>(they were installed by the previous owners)</i> and while they do function, I've just never been a fan of white blinds... I think they can be a bit skank. <i>Or maybe I've just been brainwashed by these beautiful images of roman bamboo shades....</i><br /><br />Check out these windows and how darn pretty bamboo shades can be!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;">This space is gorgeous. I love the black, white and brown combination. Don't you just love the layered look of the windows? The shiny brass rod and drapery rings add just the right amount of glamour to this rustic space. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_tDASq4nHNmoj8HNzMW3ewZ34rndRpj-Nib5h_2s9-oE5xqmMRXznsB5y9kWnuP4mbphYcJ2jGzg69HU6u-_Uu9co5Scb_fRxadWxFw0wvvsGZ3R3ztIfwLHbk5Xf6z4sXt8CPXtGHpo/s1600/834ce1f61058.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="468" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_tDASq4nHNmoj8HNzMW3ewZ34rndRpj-Nib5h_2s9-oE5xqmMRXznsB5y9kWnuP4mbphYcJ2jGzg69HU6u-_Uu9co5Scb_fRxadWxFw0wvvsGZ3R3ztIfwLHbk5Xf6z4sXt8CPXtGHpo/s640/834ce1f61058.png" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I'm not crazy about the yellowy-tint of these roman shades, but again, I just love the layered look that it creates. Also, I always love a floor to ceiling gallery wall. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT5OcF_OLSgGiKy8AvP-5FP14q7k2GMvJpjbWiorr8CHdnnHc_u7K679TJE-PDvFUXIWmBhzE9ZIhqij-1O8BGNrlbnRiI_vjKI7RTaq4HY54ELastf_5bje2Sn2lYb2Vl-FGqnBtm7G4/s1600/65302263316361080_bABSUPDP_c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT5OcF_OLSgGiKy8AvP-5FP14q7k2GMvJpjbWiorr8CHdnnHc_u7K679TJE-PDvFUXIWmBhzE9ZIhqij-1O8BGNrlbnRiI_vjKI7RTaq4HY54ELastf_5bje2Sn2lYb2Vl-FGqnBtm7G4/s640/65302263316361080_bABSUPDP_c.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">These roman shades are pretty spectacular.
