She has a long and narrow kitchen and is in desperate need of an eat-<i>in</i> area in the kitchen (instead of the separate dining room she already has). Banquettes are a great idea for small spaces because most of your seating, at least half, will be<i> kissing</i> the wall. No need for room behind banquette seating, which you would typically need for traffic and pulling out your chair. This makes banquette seating great for those looking to save a little space!
